Taiwan’s official guide describes a three-hour cycle and a 15-minute ordinary portal window. Korea’s clock anchor remains a community reference. This tool cannot confirm a live portal or its remaining entry time. Read the schedule basis →

How do I use the rift timer?

Choose the service you play before reading the countdown. The Taiwan preset uses UTC+8 and the Korea preset uses UTC+9, with a reference cycle beginning at 02:00. The table lists starts within the selected server day and converts each one into your device’s local time. The weekday beside a local start helps when the server and your device are on different calendar dates. Check that your device clock and time zone are correct before planning around the result.

Compare the next expected opening with the countdown shown in your game. If the two disagree, use the game’s current information. You can select Custom to adjust the server UTC offset and the first hour in the repeating cycle. This also provides a way to plan for a Global service without assuming that every region shares the same schedule. Your choice is saved locally in this browser when storage is available, so you can return to the same settings later.

What does the countdown actually mean?

The large countdown measures time until the next reference start. It does not report an active portal, count available places or predict when entry closes. When an expected start passes, the tool advances to the following start. Players may still be participating in the earlier activity, and its portal may or may not be accepting new entrants. Read the current portal state and activity information in game before travelling.

This distinction matters because a recurring schedule and a live game event answer different questions. A schedule helps you reserve time and prepare a route. A live event state tells you whether you can enter now. This website has no connection to your character or server and cannot observe maintenance, a full matching group or a last-minute change. Use the timer as a planning aid alongside the game, especially after updates.

From a countdown to a useful plan

Before the expected opening, check the objective you want to complete. Confirm that it belongs to Spacetime Rift rather than an unrelated Abyss activity, inspect any conditions the client displays and make room for items you intend to collect. If you are travelling with a group, agree on the destination and participation rules before moving. The rift guide brings these preparation steps together.

Once an opening begins, use the current map marker to find the active portal. An older coordinate list can help explain a region but does not prove that a portal is active there today. If a marker is missing, work through the missing-rift checks. If a visible portal rejects entry, read its message and use the entry checklist to separate capacity, timing and requirements.

Where does the schedule come from?

NC’s December 3, 2025 announcement documented a change from a four-hour interval to a three-hour interval. That historical fact supports the reference cycle. The Taiwan official guide updated September 17, 2026 supplies a newer three-hour reference and describes ordinary portal entry. Its clock examples anchor our expanded table at 02:00. Korea’s anchor still uses community context, and Global requires manual calibration. Every region can receive changes, and old patch details should not be treated as current guarantees. Our source guide explains the boundary between documented facts and assumptions.

For other activities, use their own rules. A world boss may follow a fixed appearance schedule or a respawn interval after its last kill. Daily and weekly limits may reset independently of rift starts. The activities hub explains these differences and helps you plan a session without borrowing a clock from an unrelated event. We add numerical schedules only when their service and source can be identified.

Reminders and privacy

You can arm a browser notification for the next expected opening. Permission is optional, and the reminder works only while this page remains open in a supported browser. A sleeping device or background-tab restrictions can delay it. Your timer settings stay on your device; the tool does not require a game login or send character information. The site loads optional web fonts from Google, and ordinary hosting request logs depend on the hosting provider.

Rift timer FAQ

How often does a Spacetime Rift open?

The historical official update introduced a three-hour cycle. The reference tool therefore calculates eight starts per day. Check the current schedule for your service in game.

Does the timer support Global servers?

Use Custom / Global and align its UTC offset and cycle anchor with your in-game timer. There is no verified Global preset here.

How long can I enter after a start?

The Taiwan official guide lists 15 minutes for ordinary portal entry and 10 minutes for Rift Contest entry. These are different activities. Other services still need verification; check your live portal countdown.

Do I need an account?

No. The timer runs in your browser. Saved settings and notification permission are local to your device.
